Online Bible Teaching Ministry

Living By The Word of God

This is an online bible teaching ministry which teaches and guides everyone and helps them to live a healthier, happier, and more Christian life style with help from Rev. Wendell Wharton. As a Baptist minister, Rev. Wendell preaches The Word of God, teaches online Bible lessons, publishes books, and provides other religious services to help better the lives of individuals all across the country and around the world. With our Bible word search puzzles, you’ll have fun living by The Word of God. Contact us for more details.

In order to spread The Word of God, Rev Wendell has developed a series of "Bible Based Life Lessons". Each lesson is three paragraphs in length and is part of an online Bible study program. He provides contextual Bible verses and quotes, (Proclamation) which are then simplified and explained. (Explanation)  This is followed by advice on how each of these verses applies to your current, daily life. (Application)  These "Life Lessons" have been referred to as mini-sermons, but they are designed to be daily devotionals that help to explain The Scriptures. He posts one of these Bible Based Life Lessons on his blog daily. His blog may be viewed online through the links provided on this website.

These Bible Based Life Lessons have also been published and are available for purchase through this website. The lessons are grouped together by The Book of The Bible from which they were taken. Rev Wendell has published thirteen of these Bible based books, in addition to a Bible Commentary which includes the Life Lessons from The New Testament Bible Book of Matthew through The Bible Book of Revelation. These books are all available for purchase on the Shop Now page of this website.

Rev. Wendell also conducts live, face-to-face, Bible study sessions once each week on Wednesday nights. Each one hour long session covers one chapter of a Book of The Bible, and he proceeds chapter by chapter.  The notes and handouts from each of these sessions are available for you to review on the Links page of this website. He is currently teaching from The Bible Book of The Gospel According to John.  For copies of the handouts from this current series in The Bible Book of John, or from the previous Bible study sessions on The Bible Book of Romans or The Bible Book of Hebrews, please contact us and let us know which one you would like.

The Bible Verse For Today

"The steps of a good man are ordered by The Lord; and H delighteth in his way."                                                                                               (Psalm 37:23)

The Inspirational Thought For Today

"If you are not positive energy, you're negative energy."
(Mark Cuban)

The Motivational Quote For Today

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
(Nelson Mandela)

Holy Word

The Words Of Encouragement for Today

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from The Lord, which made heaven and earth."
(Psalm 121:1-2)

The Life Lesson For Today

“Not all of our family members and friends will rejoice with us and share in the joy of our dreams.  In fact, not all of them really want to see us do well and succeed, especially if we will become better off than they are.  Unfortunately, some people act like crabs in a barrel, pulling one another down before they can reach the top.  We should rejoice when our family and friends rejoice and be sad when they are sad. (Romans 12:15)  We are not to desire or covet anything which belongs to others. (Exodus 20:17)  We should also be aware of the fact that dreams may show us a successful end point, but they may not reveal the grievous predicaments which must be endured before the prosperity.  We must keep the faith and endure to the end, with or without the support of family and friends.”
(Rev Wendell Wharton)

His Purpose

In addition to preaching and teaching the gospel from the pulpit, Rev. Wendell has made it his goal to accomplish spreading The Word of God throughout the entire world via the internet. According to The Bible, the great commission is to spread The Word of God to "... teach all nations ..." (Matthew 28:19-20) and to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel ..." (Mark 16:15) The internet affords him a great opportunity for teaching The Word of God to "the world."

To God be the glory!!!

"... Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory to God." 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)

Mission Statement:

1. To Spread The Word of God 2. To Edify the Saints 3. To Show the Lost the Way to Christ

To accomplish his goals and objectives, Rev. Wendell plans to post a brief explaination of each chapter in The Bible, and to offer an example of how The Word of God can be applied to our daily lives.
